"Life of the Rooftop Party" offers up party music for those times when it turns out those edibles were way stronger than you imagined, but you can't go home. Skull-rattling, throbbing beats, syncopated tones and rampaging analogue synth sounds that burble, gurgle and squak, all descending on your twisted brain.

Rotten Milk, Sonia Monet Saxon and Francis Zaander were frequent musical collaborators in New Orleans throughout the 2010s. Their improvised, experimental music took the forms of many short-lived projects including Purpose Cleaner & the Unoriginal Allstate, Menu Boiz and Butt City.

These improvised synthesizer and drum machine trios were recorded in Chicago - which Saxon and Zaander currently call home - in the summer of 2022 in a warehouse space next to the McKinley Park clock tower.
